Department of Bachelor of Commerce-Banking and Insurance had organized a guest lecture for the students of first year, second year and third year Bachelor of Commerce-Banking and Insurance, on 13th February, 2021. The said guest lecture was scheduled at 11:00 am till 12:00 noon, on Google Meet. The total number of attendees was 60 inclusive of all three years, degree course.

Ms. Nagma Shaikh, an Software Engineer at Wipro Technology, having more than seven years of IT experience, was invited as a guest lecturer. The main objective of the guest lecture is to basic implementation of IT in banking sector. The Resource Person also explained the Role of Database Management system (DBMS), the various modules of DBMS etc.She also explained brief explanation on Role of DBMS Tools in Banking Industry and headed with the basic understanding of SQL Server, ORACLE Database, IBM DB2, Amazon Elastic Cache(AWS) and APEX SQL etc.The lecture ended with discussion and through question and answer session.
